This is who we are

We are both native Washingtonians. Ralph was born and raised in Centralia, Washington, I was born in Seattle and raised in both Seattle and Tacoma.

We’ve been married since June of 1972 and though we have no children of our own, we are close to our three adult nieces, Billie Jo, Julie and Amy. Additionally, we consider Ralph’s Little Brother, Greg, to be our son. They were matched by Big Brothers when Greg was just eight. He’s now 31, been married to Darane’ eight years and they have two fabulous children that we grandparent. Savannah is nearly five, Nick is 18 months.

We presently live in Olympia, the state capitol. Ralph is a customer service specialist for the Department of Health and I’m a web developer for the Department of Information Services.

When we have spare time we like to spend it spoiling the grandbabies, visiting our local farmer’s market, antiquing in either Olympia or Centralia, reading, listening to music or watching movies. We also enjoy going to the beach and visiting garage sales. I also spend some of my free time working on our family histories.
