Sick of winter weather!!!

This is the worst winter I can remember here in many years, the absolute worst. Besides the normal windy, rainy, cloudy and cool we've had a big flood, lots of episodes of snowfall and a week of overnight temps in the teens with daytime highs only in the 30s and 40s. Makes us long for the warmth and sunshine of Mexico for sure. We have so many friends in Mexico or Arizona now too...oh, to be toasty warm!! Not to be this winter for sure!!



I know I shouldn't whine about this, but man, just a little tiny bit of snow here can make things so difficult. We had less than two inches sticking the other night and they closed down all the schools in the county!!! Crazy. And having so many snowy mornings has made it a real trick to get out of this subdivision. Either way we go we've got a hill. One way we have to either go a short way the wrong way down a one way road or else go to the top of the one way, flip around and go down the right way on the one way and then out and around. The other way is a long downhill "S" curve, and I did a complete free fall down that one last week in my car. Completely out of control from top to bottom. Thankfully I didn't hit anyone or anything!



The one way street downhill...the best way to go!



Looks pretty, but I want it to go away and stay away!!
